Venetian Villa completely restored in Caerano di San Marco – Treviso.

The Villa is part of the patrimony of the Venetian Villas and it is catalogued by the IRVV (regional institute for Venetian villas) with the number 00000127.

Villa Rovero is fenced by a low wall made up of pebbles and bricks and you can access along Via San Marco through an ashlar arched portal.Beyond this portal you enter a courtyard, now the garden, which presents along the North side the main body, while along the East and West sides a long building with arches in exposed masonry and wooden floors and a two-storey building overlooking the road (barchessa). The first plan of the villa dates back to the end of 1500s, architecturally it is characterized by the pediment of the facade supported by pillars marking the central hall, the pivotal distribution of all the rooms; above, the main facade is completed by a central three-light window.

Thanks to the sensibility of the owners, inside the villa and not only on the main floor, it is possible to admire enchanting frescoes by painters of the Veronese school, depicting rural scenes and heraldic coats of arms.

Particularly fortunate is the location, Asolo at 10 km and Treviso at 30.

The central body of Villa Rovero is spread over 3 floors and measures a total of about 900 square meters

The barchessa is spread over 2 floors and measures a total of about 800 square meters approx.

Indoor swimming pool and caretaker house 200 sqm

Garden 3,500 sqm

The villa has undergone renovations, preserving its original state where possible and it is in an excellent state of preservation.

The barchessa instead needs restoration and the pool has never been  completed in construction.
